Therapy services at Eye Cue

Who we see and how we work

Therapy services is the umbrella term for all talk-based mental health treatment that a licensed clinician delivers in a clinical setting. Many people in LA County hit long waits to get a Medi-Cal therapist, often biweekly or monthly, before calling us. Others couldn't find a therapist who speaks Farsi, Tagalog, or Spanish.

Outpatient therapy comes in several evidence-based formats: cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, EMDR, and others. We practice 6 of those formats in-house at Eye Cue. Call our intake team if you're not sure which fits; no diagnosis or prior preference needed.

We see adults, teens, and families in person at 17215 Studebaker Rd., Suite #110, Cerritos, CA 90703, and by video across California through our telehealth contracts.

Our methods

Therapy approaches we practice

The 6 evidence-based formats our clinicians work from, matched to what you're carrying.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

CBT connects thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so clients can interrupt patterns that keep them stuck. It's one of the most studied therapy formats for anxiety and depression.

Psychodynamic therapy

Psychodynamic therapy looks at how early relationships and unconscious patterns show up in present-day life. It's slower and deeper than CBT and is a strong fit for long-standing emotional patterns.

Solution-focused therapy

Solution-focused therapy builds on what's already working. Instead of analyzing the problem at length, sessions stay close to the client's goals and current strengths.

Narrative therapy

The person is not the problem; the problem is the problem. Narrative therapy helps clients rewrite the story they carry about themselves and separate their identity from the issue.

Trauma-informed care

Trauma-informed practice means every session is structured around safety, choice, and the client's pace. It applies across all four service lines when a client's history includes trauma.

EMDR therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) processes stored trauma through bilateral stimulation. We offer EMDR therapy on Medi-Cal, which is uncommon in the LA and Orange County market.

“If you want to see your therapist in person, you can, or you can stay on telehealth. Same therapist either way.” You can switch between formats as your schedule or preference changes without changing clinicians.

Why us

Why Eye Cue Mental Health. No algorithm, no session quotas

Treatment length is yours to set

Treatment length is based on your medical necessity, not a session counter. We don't use an algorithm to step you down or terminate care. Your clinician and you decide when the work is done.

If the fit is off, we match you with another clinician

If a client isn't a fit with their assigned clinician, they switch to another clinician within the practice. The team owns the match, not the patient. You stay inside Eye Cue without starting the intake process over.

Private-practice quality on the insurance you already carry

We treat Medi-Cal clients the same way we treat private-pay clients. No metal detectors. No waiting-room atmosphere pulled from a county program. A real private-practice setting with weekly availability.
